It's still winter in Wonderland

This is what I got to drive my kids to school in this morning. I am not kidding this happened in a matter of an hour or two and my kids didn't even get a delay this morning, for school. It is the perfect wet snow that Colorado's famous for. We could be making the coolest snowmen right now, if they were lucky enough to get a snow day. I am a little paterbed about that. Last night we didn't have a bit of leftover snow so this is all new.Don't you think these pictures are neat? I put them on here just for fun.

It's still coming down good. The nice thing about this is that the roads are still warm from the sunny week we had. This means that they will stay mostly clear with minimal plowing.

We just had Sun and wind yesterday. I didn't get a picture of the wild turkey. I think he moved on to the neighbor's place yesterday, because their dogs were barking an awlful lot yesterday afternoon and evening. The wild turkey must have moved on, as everything is quiet today, except for the birds, and traffic on the highway.

A few amber colored high clouds this morning. Mary told me she wanted to get started at 7:45 this morning, so I shut the computer down and had the Bronco started & ready to go by 7:48. At 8:07 she finally comes out and tells me it's going to be awile longer, piss me off, wasted all that gas in the Bronco wating for her.

It's amazing how many people think they know how to drive, but they can't even avoid hitting something in plane site. I went to close the front gate this morning and dicsovered someone had hit the gate post again. It's been hit about 30 or 40 times in the past 6 years. I have had to do at least 15 major repairs on the gate posts because of inept drivers. Just more to piss me off this morning.

I do love you Joyce.

I'm OK this morning. Was a heck of a St Pattys day yesterday, I could have used a few huggs, but I made it through the day.

Love you, Dad

Well since they didn't call a delay for school that day. When I had to get my son because Friday's always a early dismissal, I surprised Willow and picked her up early. I will post some pictures, of our fun, if I get a chance. We were Snowed in on St. Patrick's Day So I do have a picture from that day too. I'm glad that you have recovered from your hard week. Happy First Day of Spring! EXTRA HUGS

Some of the trees have been bloseming for a couple of weeks now. The apple trees have started this week. It is Spring here in Sonoma County, California, on The Train Farm.

Much love, Dad

The weather has been good, so I did manage to get some work done outside yesterday before I picked up Shane from school, and Mary Mom from work, and dropped off Karen and Savannah at the hospital to visit her dad.

Much love, hugs & kisses, Dad
