It's still winter in Wonderland

This is what I got to drive my kids to school in this morning. I am not kidding this happened in a matter of an hour or two and my kids didn't even get a delay this morning, for school. It is the perfect wet snow that Colorado's famous for. We could be making the coolest snowmen right now, if they were lucky enough to get a snow day. I am a little paterbed about that. Last night we didn't have a bit of leftover snow so this is all new.Don't you think these pictures are neat? I put them on here just for fun.

Free car show every sunny Saturday in the Springs

Can you believe it...people show up from all over just to show each other their cars. It is a neat activity to go to and it's free. We liked a lot of the cars so I'm going to share a few of them. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did, because they were all "NICE CUZ". See if you can name the make, model and/or year of each car. Tracy is quite good at it, are you?

Tracy's BIG 4 0

This is the bunch of us celebrating Tracy's 40th Birthday at MiMi's Cafe. We laughed for hours. I bet our waitress was relieved to see us leave. The food was awesome and the company was even better.

from the top: Debbie and Rich, Alberta (Mom or NaNa)with Kevin and Monica, Tracy and I, Von and Cindy, and Kevin and Monica, again( too cute not to include).
After our long dinner a couple of us went to see the movie 10,000B.C. It was a really good movie which we will wind up buying. I will have to include this fun picture of Tracy and I with his Birthday cake.

This is Storm holding his second place award for his school's seventh grade science fair. If you ask me he should have got 1st place over all (6th-8th). It was well received by students and faculty alike. My son is a quiet type, but I can't tell you how many compliments I got for he and his board. His project was on the effect of caffeine on a person's blood pressure. I thought is was more noteworthy than, which popcorn had less unpopped popcorn, but then I could be biased. The one that won was so simple and the board was boring, too!
There was more to it, that sat on the table, but Storm had already taken that stuff home before the awards were given out. Nana and I were there to see him get his award which included a certificate for 20 points he could use toward any class. So what do you think?
