These are some I-70 pictures from 06

The canyon has everything from desert sand, to lush, plush forest, to rocky slate cliffs. Not to mention you'll drive through the longest tunnel in your life and see some of the most beautiful ski resort towns ever. There are lakes, rivers, and waterfalls and all kinds of wild life. Once I saw a family of Rocky Mountain rams. I think it is some of the most breathtaking land that God has ever created. I'm sorry these pictures don't even do it justice.

The truck is loaded. You will not get any comments next week, unless I figure out how to get to your blog while we are away.

Love you, Dad

Very pretty. I love the beautiful earth we live on. My kids would love the tunnel. I however, would've enjoyed it only for the first few seconds. I'm claustrophobic.

Lisa, I'm sorry about you being claustrophobic. I never thought about that because obviously,I'm not. Did you get to play the video of the tunnel? It's like being there without having to worry about the phobic issue. My dad said he didn't see any play button on it in order to play the recording, did you?Have a HAPPY week, HUGS!

We all had a good time on your visit, too. I hope you and Mary Mom got some good pictures of the rams because it looks like there might be something wrong with that first part of the sim chip, for my camera. I'll try to check it out on my computer soon. I will be canning beans (Pinto and Black) tomorrow. At least that is the plan.I am so happy you got to see all of your kidos last week. You should do that more often ;) By the way Ellie has been a little better at her barking, knock on wood. I think it might be a bread thing because I saw someone with two like her and they both had bark collers on. Any ways, I'm glad you are both home safe. I can't wait to see all the pictures.I LOVE YOU DADDY. Say Hello and give some hugs to Mary Mom for me.

We traveled 2780.4 miles on our trip. I have not checked the fuel (gas) cost for the trip. Maps food and snakes was about $200 give or take a dollar or two. Mary Mom has turned in our film to be processed.

Love you, Dad

We are dog-sitting this week. The dog's name is Nietzsche, but I call him Niechers.
Mary Mom's brother, Lewis, is expected to get here from Texas today.
