These were my only attempts at portraits. Me being my worst critic, think that I definitely captured more of Willow than Storm, in the eyes. What do you think? Not too shabby for a first timer, huh?
Your portraits certainly look better than any attempt I could have made. Sadly, my only artistic talent lies in my ability to sketch stick people.... and even those sketchs are rather sad.
Willow, you finally have a blog and I'm not invited? Well then... I'm feeling unloved, J.K. ;)
I didn't do stick figures very well either, until I bought a book of creative stick figures. Now I think they are way too cute to be just stick figures.
I've been busy with life and my calling, but my "After Halloween, Halloween Party, was a load of fun. I couldn't believe that I was relieved that it was over earlier than normal. I had the perfect amount of fun and was bushed when Tracy's little sister and her family were the last to leave at about 11:30. If you know me... I can stretch a night into the morning like nobody else.
Willow has been slammed with big projects, like book reports and creative history reports, leaving me cramming these home projects into long nights trying to encourage input out of her sweet , bushed little mind. Tough goes!
Storm is getting the everyday homework done well and is now really loving Young Mens. It might have to do with Paulie being his leader.
Janna, Paulie's wife, Gabi, and I have just decided that since we loved Sunday's family/friend dinner, that we are going to expand our Sunday dinners into our own little Family Home Evening group. We had such great fun the last time we started doing that, on Mondays then. Now that our Honey's are often/always out of town on Mondays, it makes Sundays perfect.
Tracy is now working five eight hour days, instead of the usual four tens. This has me madder that a pitbull who has just lost his dinner to a chiwawa. What a stupid idea, having those men away from their families and lives for an extra day without even getting any overtime out of it. That just gives him more time to be bored and all the other workers more time to get drunk or worse. STUPID!
Mean while I am now doing stuff for the next Young Woman's activity (Young Women in Excellence)and still feeding and helping the missionaries, and have yet to finish painting my kitchen, that is half brown and half yellow.
We did get three calls on the house, so far, but none of them solid. I need to spend some more time over there some time soon.
Oh and a COOL thing I forgot to share... Was that Sarah Palin came back into Colorado Springs last Monday before the upsetting election, and I got to go to the rally. Not only did I get to go to the rally, but we were asked to sit on the stage behind her. There we were, My two friends and my friends baby and I, center stage on the top row, right under the middle of the COUNTRY FIRST sign. We didn't get her autograph, but we did get pictures with Hank Williams Jr. and his autograph. It was way more fun than I could ever expect. I screamed my head off, danced, and kept whacking the poor friendly lady next to me with my patriotic pompoms.
Well thats a lot to chew on, so I'll get going now. Enjoy the update. Oh I almost forgot... I got my hair done this weekend, and I feel like a million bucks. It is soooo cute I must share when I get some pictures. KISS KISS! and TIGHT HUGS!
Joyce, if I had a blog I would surely invite you. I am not all together that techno-savvy, and I am sure that any blog "we" had Russ would have to manage. He is uber busy with school and work right now, so blogless we continue to be.
I am glad to hear that you all are doing well. How fun to have a group to celebrate, play, and dine with.
Hey Hey! What's happen-n? I have been over at my old house working like a dog on Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday I picked up a friend in Pueblo and took her to the airport here in the Springs just a little bit ago. It was a nice visit. Tracy's mom is giving me grief for not being over there helping her and Debbie, with the house. Debbie is Tracy's little sister, who will be moving into the house with her family on Friday. No they are not buying it they are just going to rent it for cheap, while we try to find a buyer. Dad, are you interested? It's cheap... ;)I LOVE YOU. You know two out of your four kids live here, and Nita is just three hours away. You could bring whoever you want with you ;)HUGE HUGS
Friday. I would love to, but it can't happen. All the money I have comming in is spent before I get it, and I have too many obligations here that I can't just leave. Matt would come too if we could do it. Love, Dad
Happy Gobble Gobble day to you too. I am looking forward to some time with my Honey and the kids. We have canceled dinner though, because Tracy's mom blew up at me and ruined the spirit of the season. Tracy wants nothing to do with the Holiday now. I'm just glad my kids and my Honey will be home for the rest of the week.
What about you DADDY? Are you guys hosting Thanksgiving dinner? I bet it's crowded when you all get together, right? Well whatever you do have the best of time. I LOVE YOU!
Hey Joyce, Havent heard from you lately. How you been? We love our new home here in Tx. If you ever come down this way for the great parks, seaworld, sixflags, schlitterbaun, Come on by. You can stay here.
My most favorite people in the whole wide world are my husband Tracy and our two children Storm and Willow. My Honey and I have been married now for 14 years and we are still in love with each other. When I grow up, I want to take a little bit of everyone I know, and a little bit of the experiences I've had and make the best me I can. I have a lot to look forward to ;)
I'm thinken since I'm the "newgirlhere" I should tell everyone a little bit about me. My name is Joyce and I am a 34 year old house-wife with a super sweet husband and two wonderful kids. I don't exactly know what I'm doing here because a really am "trueHaveNoClue" When I am more familiar with this thing I will switch up my info and have more to share. Until then, know that I am a outgoing girl, who just loves everyone (lets be honest "almost" everyone).
...his mostly scratched lottery ticket. What the pilot failed to see was that he didn't scratch the whole thing. When I finished the scratcher it was covered in either E's or 5's (I'm not sure which) in both fields of the card. But I definitely got the feeling that this ticket was a BIG WINNER. Now wasn't that fun? I think its time to buy a lottery ticket, but be sure to scratch the whole thing.
