Our House, is a very, very, very fine house (SMILES)

This picture really doesn't do it justice, with the big ol' maple tree in the way and all. So here are some of the outside pictures. I'll start with the front yard.

Now for the back yard... notice the shed with the arbor and French doors, that's my art studio. The back deck has come in handy for eating outside and Bar-B-Q-N. I have already hosted a baby shower for a new lady at church and the house was much more gracious than the old one. It entertains well ;)

That's it for the outside pictures. I'll share the inside another time. Maybe I'll even get my Honey's camera and film it. this way you can really see it's beauty ;) SMOOCHIES! my DADDY and Friends.

Joyce, It's great! I've been so anxious to see pictures! That's so exciting for you guys. I can't wait to see the inside.

Sunday. It would be nice if I could escape back to Colorado Springs to see your new house, and Paul's too. Do you have any pictures of Paul's house?
Love you, Dad

rainstorm said...

Thanks for the SWEET comments about my new home. I'm glad you love it. The pics of the inside will have to come later, because Tracy's been home for the past couple of days and I don't do much cleaning when he's here. I want you to see it when it's BEAUTIFUL.

DAD, Come on back ;) but if you need pictures of Paulie's house I might be able to snap a few for you.

Yes, you guessed it, Tracy's working out of town again ;( I just miss him when he's gone. Storm started back to school last week. He said this was the first time he's been excited to go back to school. Willow ;) SMILES, is going to the charter school now. She has adjusted well.

Me I'm currently tending a newborn for what seems like pennies. She is only 5 weeks old and is an angel. I LOVE HER, but I tend to want to be the mom too much, so I can see this wont last. In other words, I can be the best mom ever, but this is someone else's child and I'm always trying to make her mommy's life easy instead of doing what's best for the baby. I give her advice on how to help the baby and get static. I don't like that. This is the first baby she's been able to raise and her husband is in prison. She lives with her step dad and his wife. Life is hard for her, I get that, but it's hard for the baby too. What would you do? HUGE, SQU-E-Z, HUGS

Paul Train said...

Monday. Jioyce I'm not a mother, I'm a father, dad, granddad and man. As we are all different, it would be kind of hard for me to give advise when I do not know the other people involved. Your Heavenly Father has blessed you with many things you share with the people around you in your life. All you can do is be Joyce Katy, doing the best you can, for the girl and her baby. I don't know what else to say, I think you are doing a great job with your family (kids & husband).

I love you, Dad

rainstorm said...

Thanks DAD. I decided that same thing today. I just love that baby way too much to quit. They both need me and until I absolutely have to, I'm not going to quit. The baby is so easy and lovable. Her Mommy is just going to have to be happy, having the best sitter for the baby, and she goes by the name of "AUNT JOYCE" ;) I need to be satisfied with the things I can control and that's only her time here with me.

rainstorm said...

Jen, I just got to my e-mail for the first time since our move and I read the one that you told us about Mark and his illness. I'm sorry to hear about such a terrible thing happening to such a great guy and wonderful family. I was so proud of how well you are rolling with the punches. Your family will be blessed for the faith that you show, but you already knew that, right? ;) GIANT HUGS for you and your Honey oh and that new baby, heck forget about that, I'm sending them to the whole fam.

Paul Train said...

Tuesday. Right on Joyce Katy, the baby sitting is all you can take care of.

By the way, can I come live with you? Just kidding! Love that house.

Love, Dad

rainstorm said...

There is a wonderful spare room, but I've learned to never invite anyone to live with you... they'll never want to leave ;)SMOOCHIES

Paul Train said...

Wednesday. No comment! Love you, Dad

rainstorm said...

You know I had to say it ;) The devil made me do it ;) Working hard today? How is the family?

By the way...I had my first virus-download last night. While Storm was doing his homework on the computer, they snook one in on him. I spent hours on the phone with McAffee getting the darn thing off. I was very unhappy, but, now I'm better :)

Have a SUNSHINY DAY! I LOVE YOU

Paul Train said...

Thursday. Well it's overcast right now.

Love you, Dad

Paul Train said...

TGIFriday. Another Overcast morning. We will have to leave in a few minutes to take Hannah to school.
Looking forward to see pictures.

Love you, have a great day, Dad

rainstorm said...

Well we have had rain for more than 24 hours straight. It finally let up around 5:00p.m. Now it's really cold out there, you can even so your breath.

DAD, I had a heart to heart talk with the baby's mom and she told me there was no one in the whole wide world that she trusted more with her baby girl than me, and that she feels very blessed to have me taking care of her. She did say she gets jealous of me and how I get to stay home, while she has to live with the consequences for her past actions. She wants to be home with Nevaeh, having her husband support her and the baby, so she doesn't have to work. I feel so bad for her.

rainstorm said...

I Love you! HUGS

Paul Train said...

Saturday. Joyce dear, you work, you do not need to feel bad for her. You earn your keep by taking care of your kids, husband and home. Your Heavenly Father has blessed you for this.

I love you, Dad

Paul Train said...

Sunday. After looking at the pictures of your house, I would say your Heavenly Father has blessed you a lot. He has blessed me to, giving me such a great daughter.

Love you, Dad

karen said...

Isnt it so fun to have a new house. Looks great. Sorry to hear its already getting cold there. Wait a minute. No Im not. THATS why I left there. We are just now maybe going to be in the mid 80s this next week. YEAH..

MISS YOU

rainstorm said...

Karen, I think I welcome all weather when it first comes, then after a bit I'm ready to move on, whether it's cold , hot, rainy or snowy. I suppose that's why I "LOVE" Colorado Springs. We have all seasons here and it seems like it's all mixed together. The saying is true that they say, "if you don't like the weather in Colorado, just wait a minute".
How long have you been moved now? I guess time has slipped away from me lately. I hope all went well with the move.

DAD, I love your love ;) Yes I have been blessed, I've never looked at it that way, though. I guess it feels like I'm doing what I do because that's all I've ever really wanted to do. I love my kids and my Honey and I want to do everything for them. They are "MY WORLD". And I suppose maybe that IS why I am so blessed ;) It makes me smile to know I am one of your blessings. You deserve more though. Have a happy day. HUGS

Paul Train said...

Monday. I thank you for that thought, but I have what I deserve. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, I learn my lessions the hard way. I have a wife that loves me, three super kids, Matt and Dave try, lots of grandkids, a piece of land to live on, and a great dog. I always have something to do. What else do I need?
Things could be better, but they could also be worse. I thank God that things are as good as they are, and when I'm ready, he will help me make them better.

Love you, Dad

rainstorm said...

True! What an uplifting thought. That reminds me of the topic of Sacrament: truly being PURE of HEART. What I got from this meeting is, that someone that is pure of heart will find the positive in all things including our trials and all of Gods beauties that the world is filled with. Your comment shows me that you are pure in heart ;)

Paul Train said...

Tuesday. After getting back from taking kids to school, I picked up apples and pulled weeds for awhile before coming back in the barn. I always have something to do.

Love, Dad

rainstorm said...

Me too ;) My Honey has been home this week because of jury duty and I put him to work yesterday. He put my kitchen faucet in and hung a shelf for me. I love having him home. This is the first time he has been home since our move. He did this for me while I finally put my decor out in my living room and arranged the room. Now it feels lived in ;) I'm loven it. When I'm all done I'll share. I'm not quite ready yet.

Sadie and I are between taking kids to school.

'Honey Dos' are a part of being a husband. I get a lot of 'Honey Dos'
almose every day on top of my normal farm chores.

Fraday, TGIF.
Hannah is a little slow this morning, we are still here.

rainstorm said...

The baby and I are here this morning. She is fighting going to sleep. Don't you wish we could just sleep all day, if we wanted to? But the world goes on for us and we have far too many things to do than just sleep all day.

Today we are getting a kitten. I hope my KiKi doesn't freak out. She is kind of a loner. We are trying to make sure it's a girl, so we don't have to worry about the spraying that males do when they are in heat.

Baby Nevaeh is sleeping now, what a relief. I love to watch her sleep. She is a sweet baby. Lots of thing have led me to give her mommy my notice and Monday will be my last day to watch her. I have so many responsibilities, and I am not taking care of all of them, like my old house. I need to refocus on the things I am in charge of, before I try to help others. We are still good friends and will stay that way. After all I am AUNT JOYCE ;)

Paul Train said...

Saturday. Only have time to say 'Hi'

Love, Dad

Paul Train said...

Sunday. Good morning dear! We had some time before church, so I thought we would say 'Hi' from Sadie and I.

Taking care of an infent can be a full time job, can't it?

Using a metafore I do believe: 'Clean up your own back yard before you worry about someone else's back yard'

If taking care of the baby keeps you from your responsibilities, it is probibly best to let someone else take care of her?

I love you, Dad

Hey DAD,

GUESS WHAT? I was just called to be the new Young Woman's President. I will be working with this fun group of ladies to lead the girls ages 12-18. I am soooo excited, I'm not sure what to do with myself. I'm pretty sure that Heavenly Father had this in mind instead of babysitting. On to the next challenge, it's a good thing Y.W. is my favorite place to serve.

I liked your saying and I think it is very fitting. Say HI to Sadie and MaryMom for me. I LOVE YOU! HUGS ;)

rainstorm said...

I do have meetings all week, so it might take me a while to get back on here but know that you are "MY SPECIAL DADDY". By the way I've been to your blog ;) and have left a few new comments. ENJOY! and give input.

Paul Train said...

Tuesday.
I said 'hi' to Sadie for you.

Young Woman's President, how about that? My super girl!

Love you, Dad

Merrimom said...

Cool Joyce! I'm so excited for you! I'd love to hear all about it when you get going into it. Sunday they just changed me from being the Nursery leader to being the Relief Society Compassionate Service lady. Not sure how I feel about it all yet. I liked being in the Nursery. We'll see how it goes. Good luck my friend!

Paul Train said...

Wednesday.
I said 'Hi' to Mary Mom for you. She asked me if you called, I told her that you had left the message on the Internet.

Friday. Isn't it great to always have something to do?

Love yoy, Dad

rainstorm said...

Nice picture, and YES it is nice to always have something to do ;) With my faith there is never time to get board. They always have me doing something. I'm glad they have me doing something I really "LOVE" ;)

rainstorm said...

Mer, I'm glad to see you pop in congrats on your new calling even though they took you out of the nursery. It takes a pretty talented person to be in there and to find someone who loves it... that is rare. I have had your new calling before, and it is a great way to get to know the women in your ward. You will also learn who you can count on and who is too busy for any of that. You will get to learn their strengths and talents too. I wish you fun experiences of women having babies and setting up cleaning crews for those moving out of the ward ;) Much luck to you too!

I look forward to telling how things are going with my calling. FUN FUN ;)

HUGS AnD LOVE

rainstorm said...

Oh and I LOVE "MY DADDY" too ;) I don't want you to feel left out. HUGS

Paul Train said...

Saturday.
I see you were here this morning while Sadie, Mary Mom and I were sleeping.

Love,
Dad

Merrimom said...

I sent you my email about my blog and it came back to me. You changed emails with your move I'm guessing? If you still have my email and you don't mind me bugging you now and then, send me one so I'll have your new address. Love ya!

rainstorm said...

Mer, I "HATE" email ;( I hardly ever check it. I will have to call Comcast to find out what has happened. The service guy told me I would keep my old one along with getting the new one. He may have been wrong. That is going to make me even more unhappy with email. When I have it all figured out I'll send you a note. Okay?

rainstorm said...

I may end up getting on here early because of my busy life. I guess I see it as late more than anything because I haven't gotten to bed yet ;) Why couldn't a day be longer? I love you my DADDY!

rainstorm said...

Remember we are an hour later than Ca. which is the time zone they time stamp each comment with. So it's really 12:34 my time ;)

Paul Train said...

Sunday.

Yes, the computer where blogspot is, located in California, (I think) and the time stamp is California or Pacific Time. I know that when you leave a post or comment, it is a hour later than the time stemp. Also if you post between 12 Midnight and 1:00 AM it will post the wrong date. Fun.

Love you, Dad

Paul Train said...

Monday.
I don't think it is very much fun to get old. I have an intestenal blockage. I haven't goten much sleep the last few days because of the pain and discomfort. I guess that's life.

Love,
Dad

rainstorm said...

What are you doing for the blockage and have you seen a Dr. for this? That's not fun to deal with I'm sure. Do you wind up sleeping any in a chair? I wish you good sleep. May "Our Father" help you get past this quick, so you can get back to normal life. I LOVE YOU MY DADDY! SMOOCHIES ;)

Paul Train said...

Tuesday.
L'm working on it. Ex-Lax yesterday and today. So far just gas, no poop.

No doctor, no chair in the bedroom. I've gotten a few hours sleep sitting up on the bed with pillows on my lap, to help hold me up, to lean on.

Other than feeling a bit tired and a bit sore, I am doing OK during the day, but not getting much work done, but I am getting some work done.

I was just out pulling weeds and cleanning up around some plantings. Not heavy work, but things that needed to be done.

Love my Joyce Katy, Dad

Paul Train said...

Wednesday.
Finally pooped last evening, but I took more ExLax this morning. I do feel much better today.

Love you, Dad

rainstorm said...

Thank goodness ;) I'm glad you are feeling better.

We went to Paulie's last night for Janna's Scentsy party. I had so much fun smelling all her scents, I wanted them all. They are scented wax that you melt in these pots that are warmed by a light bulb. YUM! I'm going to have a party for her on the 15th, that should be great fun ;) I still have bunches to buy.

Well I had better be going. LUV YA!

Paul Train said...

Thursday.
What people come up with. How are Paul and Janna doing?

Love you, Dad

Paul Train said...

TGIFriday.
Great fun so far today (HA HA EGH), but I won't go into it now, Grand kid stuff.

Rained last night, the Sun is comming out this morning, looks to be a good day. The air smells fresh and clean.

The Weather Channel says the weather front is headed your way.

Sunday.
A good day here on the farm.

Love you, Dad

Paul Train said...

Monday. Foggy and wet so far today.

Love, Dad

rainstorm said...

Yes we did get drenched last night.

Paulie and Janna are doing great. Paulie is filling the roll of big shot teacher rather well, and Janna is subbing at the school whenever she gets called and is having fun with her new "Scentsy" hobby.

My Honey will be taking his vacation, just so he can get some things done at the old house next week. I will be excited just to have him home for the week even though we will be working our booties off.

Sunshiny and beautiful today. Tracy said he hit a little bit of snow in the canyon.

rainstorm said...

MER,
I can't get onto your blog anymore. I am not getting my e-mail anymore either so I can't contact you. How do I get onto your blog? PLEASE HELP ;) I LOVE YA!
